The 3rd Annual
Central Park
Canadian Invitational Hockey Tournament
February 16 & 17, 2008
Lasker Rink - Central Park
New York City
Open to players of all levels, the spirit of this charity tournament focuses on participation rather than competition. In addition, it provides an opportunity to help those less fortunate as net proceeds are donated to the innovative non-profit youth program, Ice Hockey in Harlem.
This tournament is also intended to further the natural ties of friendship between Canadians and New Yorkers. Each year, we bring together teams from Canada and the US for a special weekend of social events, general camaraderie, and a truly unique hockey experience – the opportunity to play outdoors in one of the most beautiful city parks in the world.
Each team is guaranteed to play the equivalent of two full games (comprised of 6 mini-games) on Saturday, followed by potential playoff and all-star games on Sunday. Plan to spend the day at the rink on Saturday, as there will be onsite refreshments, followed by a special evening of music in Manhattan's lively East Village.
This is an interesting opportunity to put together a Corporate team, or just assemble a group of friends. Even if you are an individual that is interested in participating, please contact us and we may be able to place you on a team.
